APOTEC's Training session on Tax incentives

On the 24th of February, APOTEC (The Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association) will carry out a training session dedicated to the tax incentives which are currently available to Portuguese companies.

An event designed to inform and to promote the discussion of the main aspects related to the existing fiscal framework in Portugal, and how it may allow companies to compete more effectively in the international markets.

In a time when the internationalization of Portuguese companies is one of the most relevant economic issues in Portugal, this training session presents an excellent opportunity for accountants to discuss and analyse the available incentives in the Portuguese legal framework.

During the session, aspects such as worldwide competitiveness, the taxation as a competitiveness factor and the practical effects of the tax savings on the commercial results and profits of companies will be also analysed. One of the themes in focus will be the tax incentives available within the International Business Centre of Madeira as an example of an efficient mechanism to support the internationalization of Portuguese companies.
