Madeira’s IBC company designs the world’s smallest camera

On the 16th of April, AWAIBA, a company operating within the International Business Centre of Madeira, will present the DISPOSCOPE Project, which will include the exhibition of the world’s smallest camera ever produced, taking place in the University of Madeira.

AWAIBA is an high-end electronic design house and supplier that, since 2004, has been dedicated to the development of high performance image sensors using Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor technology (CMOS) for medical endoscopic applications.

During the event, AWAIBA will make a detailed presentation of its new technology, developed in partnership with UMa (Madeira’s University) using local expertise.
